Professional Objectives

By the end of 2023, I set the goal of having Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification. I am obtaining this goal by spending hours in the trauma bay, and shadowing other nurses with the TNCC certification. Another short-term goal of mine is graduating from the RN to BSN program from Auburn University in 2023. Obtaining this goal is a vital step to help me achieve my long-term goals.One long-term goal of mine would be achieving a Nurse Practitioner Program. My dream would be an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner as well. With these new certifications, I can achieve the dream of working at an Urgent Care in my hometown. I live in a royal part of Alabama, so being able to bring better medical care to this area is a huge goal of mine. One of my largest long-term goals is achieving a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. With this achievement, I would like to teach at a nursing school. I have a large passion for nursing, and I believe that sharing my passion with future nurses would be the best goal thus far.
