About Me

Hi, my name is Olivia Tatum. I received my Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Nursing from Coastal Alabama Community College in the summer of 2022. I then graduated with my Bachelors of Nursing from Auburn University in May of 2023. Before I decided to take the steps to become a nurse; I received a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi fall of 2020. I have been a Registered Nurse since August of 2022. I currently work at University Health Emergency/Trauma Center in Mobile, Alabama. I have a passion for emergency care nursing, because I like seeing the impact that my nursing abilities have on patients first hand. Being an emergency room nurse gives me instant gratitude when my nursing skills makes a patient overall well-being thrive. I approach every day in the emergency room as a learning experience. With this time, I fully believe that confidence, compassion, and kindness is what embodies the perfect nurse.
